We started making the fire lighters last year for our own use and gave some to friends to try out. They quickly became a hit with everyone and we now have regular orders for them.

 

Made from re cycled paper, card, wood shavings and fir cones we dip the materials in scented wax which is left over from our candle production. A taper is added and once set they are ready to use.

 

Hippidippies Fire Lighters can be used on open fires and stoves. or outdoors on garden waste.

 

Place one or two firelighters in the centre of your kindling and light the taper. The wax keeps the fire lighter burning long enough for the kindling to catch when you can carefully add more wood and logs.
