Dumfries and Galloway is home to an amazing array of talented artists and artisan craft makers. Here at Hippidippies we welcome guest artists and crafters and are delighted to showcase some of their work alongside our own arts and crafts.
Illustrations by Mike: Mike Abel is our resident artist and illustrator,we sell a selection of his art prints and greetings cards.
Blackhill Soaps: Artisan soap maker from Glenluce uses all natural ingredients in her soaps and shampoo bars.
Chris Easton: We have a small selection of hand thrown pottery items made by Sorbie artisan Chris who creates some of his own glazes from locally sourced materials.
4 Ewe Crafts: Artisan maker Sue works with fleece from her own pet sheep to create a variety of gifts and greetings cards.
Fishing for compliments: Sally takes unwanted and unloved items and gives them a new lease of life, using a variety of paint techniques she turns shabby furniture and small items into chic desirable objects for the home.
Hand made by Sandra: After 27 years living and working in Spain Sandra now produces fun fashion jewellery at affordable prices.
Harebell Designs Glentrool: Two talented ladies producing hand dyed silk scarves.
Last Ditch Art: Mary Arnold produces beautiful detailed watercolour prints and greetings cards of views in and around Garlieston and The Machars.
Light and Clour Studios: With their own studio in Whithorn Teresa and Robert create stunning coloured and leaded glass items. We have a selection of their mirrors, vases and tea light holders on sale in our shop.
Off the Kuff: Robert creates our very popular crochet cuffs, no girl should be without a pair of these fashionable and practical hand warmers.
Scottish Art Scapes: Evelyn MacKintosh is a well established artist in the area producing dramatic watercolours and oil paintings. A selection of her greetings cards and prints are available in store.
Veridian Skies: Astronomy is Jesse's life and work and he produces some amazing photography of our dark skies here in Galloway
